9 local designers will showcase their collections  on the 15, 16 and 17 July during Malta Fashion Week at the Grand Harbour Terrace found on the roof of MCC  –  a stunning venue that will be transformed to feature a 100metre catwalk with full lighting and sound equipment.

For over a year and a half, the fashion industry has struggled without live fashion and red carpet events. This week, some of the biggest names on the local fashion scene as well as a number of up and comers, will gather on the rooftop of the Mediterranean Conference Centre to show their new collections.

Yes, Malta’s most highly anticipated fashion event, Malta Fashion week, is back is a more intimate setting and it is undoubtedly set to exceed all previous fashion weeks!

Minister for National Heritage, the Arts and Local Government José Herrera said that The Malta Fashion Week is a reminder of the abundance of talent that the local fashion and arts industry has to offer, as local designers, makeup artists, hairstylists, models and others involved in making this event happen come together to leave their unique mark on the local arts scene.

Malta Fashion Week is the brainchild of Adrian J. Mizzi, whose inspiration to create this local event was initially greeted with a lot of incredulity, both in Malta and abroad. Against the odds, he persevered and today is proud to host one of the most-attended events in Malta. Each year his goal is to improve and in some way better the results of the previous year. He has also been involved in the production of most of Malta’s biggest events and launch parties both within and out of the fashion industry. His 25 years experience in event management is one of the contributing factors to the success of MFWA.

9 local designers will be showcasing their collections at Malta Fashion Week 2021. The first night will be kicked off by Yana’s Jewellery, Eversince and Parscandalo. The 16th July will showcase Jay, Blakkript and Ritienne Zammit. The 17th July will host Fiona Couture, Gagliardi and Charles and Ron.
