The Travellers Launch New Single ‘Ħobbni Kemm Trid’
Formed in 2013 in hopes of reviving the Maltese music scene, The Travellers have been breaking national records ever since. All members of the band are from the sister island Gozo, hence their name ‘travellers’ since they have to travel from Gozo to Malta to cross over to the main island. From their debut single “Sempliċità” to numerous other chart-topping hits such as Ħafi Paċi Kuluri in 2017, and Siġġu Vojt in 2021, the Travellers have been playing in concerts across the country, gaining a stream of followers waiting for their new releases with huge anticipation.
The astronomically talented Maltese music band have just launched their new single ‘Ħobbni Kemm Trid’ (which translates to ‘Love Me As Much As You Want’) from their most recent album ‘Inżul U Tlajja’ (translates to ‘Ups and Downs’) in collaboration with Malta International Airport, Arts Council Malta, Kinnie, Charles & Ron, Hair & Co Studios, O’hea Opticians, Rapid Screening Malta and St. Agatha’s Auditorium. Directed by Steven Levi Vella and produced by LEVIPLUS, the video of the new single exhibits an iconic shoot with a more exuberant melody and a splash of colour through avant-garde outfits designed by the Maltese clothing brand Charles & Ron.
