Destiny releases song for Eurovision 2021 and jumps to second place according to latest betting odds

Destiny will be representing Malta in the Eurovision Song Contest 2021 by diving into her unapologetic and empowering anthem, Je Me Casse

The Eurovision Song Contest will now take place in Mai 2021, following the cancellation of the event in 2020 due to the outbreak of the Corona Virus.

The semi-finals will take place on 18 and 20 Mai 2021 and the grand final will follow on 22 Mai 2021 in Rotterdam, following the country’s victory at the 2019 contest with the song “Arcade” by Duncan Laurence.

X Factor Malta Season 2 winner Destiny Chukunyere will be representing Malta with her brand new song Je Me Casse, a powerful track that screams women empowerment and self-love.

Destiny is owning the stage with yet another definitive, bold showcase of her talents: A sassy, subversive, and stunning outpouring of unapologetic and empowering self-expression, “Je Me Casse” is as catchy as it is meaningful.

The 2021 Maltese entry has been composed and penned by Malin Christin, Amanuel Dermont, Nicklas Eklund and Pete Barringer.

The 18-year-old songstress expressed her excitement about the release of her new song, ” Words cannot describe the emotions that I am experiencing right now. This song is dedicated to those women out there who in some way or another are feeling sidelined. We can do it on our own, and we really can make great things happen when we believe in ourselves and get to work!”

Malta is back with a bang!
