This Friday 23 September, Santa Venera will host RockVenera, an outdoor festival featuring music from one of the world’s biggest bands, Pink Floyd

Few bands have had such an enormous impact on the music landscape as Pink Floyd, a group whose numerous contributions to popular music have proven both highly enjoyable to listen to as well as massively influential.

In recognition of the band’s enduring popularity across a wide spectrum of music lovers, this week sees Santa Venera host a concert of their music, presented by performers from the UK.

Taking place on St. Joseph High Road, the concert features a warm-up performance by DJ Steve Agius, and music from legendary albums The Dark Side of the Moon, The Wall, The Division Bell, Wish You Were Here, Animals and A Momentary Lapse of Reason, as well as other hits from the chart-topping band.

The concert takes place in aid of ALS Malta and includes a light and laser show. Sponsorship is provided by Euroclub Hotel, The Watson’s Pub & Diner and Call Cabs.
