Youth Theatre Masquerade to Present the Allegorical Work of George Orwell
Animal Farm, a classic by George Orwell, will serve as the opening act for Masquerade Malta’s 2022–2023 season at Blue Box.
This performance has been re-envisioned by Youth Theatre Masquerade and led by Ian Moore. It seeks to deliver a vibrant, risk-taking, and modern interpretation of this classic tale. It adheres to Orwell’s original novella maintaining the story’s wit and cunning tale.
Animal Farm, which was written in 1944 as a cautionary tale, is still extremely relevant today. In addition to the thought-provoking message the story evokes, Masquerade’s exceptional young performers will create an intriguing setting, making this play an absolute must-watch.
