Earlier today, an earthquake was felt in areas all over Malta and Gozo. Tremors were reported at around 1:40 p.m.

The 4.5 Richter-scale earthquake’s epicentre was located a few kilometres north of Gozo. Some local citizens stated that they witnessed gypsum walls trembling and glasses rattling. According to several sources, the earthquakes lasted somewhere between three and eight seconds.
