Inizjamed Announce the Inaugural Gozo Literature Festival – ‘Linja Ħamra’
The Gozo Regional Council and Inizjamed have just announced the inaugural Gozo Literary Festival taking place on Saturday April 1 and Sunday April 2, 2023.
Inizjamed have also announced the five authors that will perform at the Festival, including one from Malta and four from Gozo. The authors who will contribute to this first edition of this literature festival will be Trevor Ahra, Corrine Zahra, Joe Camilleri, Elena Cardona, Charles Bezzina, and Joe Camilleri.
The Gozo Literature Festival was founded as a result of the popularity of the Malta Mediterranean Literature Festival. The Gozo Literature Festival hopes to unite and promote the writings of Gozitan and Maltese authors within the Gozitan community, while also bridging the gap between new and established authors, and involving the Gozitan community.
The writers will journey around Gozo on one of the vintage, traditional buses, stopping in most of the towns while reading on the same vehicle. Additionally, various locations will host literary acts. Book & Art Shop, Vajrina Street, Rabat will sell books by selected authors.
