ROCKWIRED: A Rock-Orchestra Concert at the Mediterranean Conference Centre this November

This November, the Mediterranean Conference Centre in Valletta will play host to a rock concert featuring a 34-piece orchestra, a 60-person chorus, and a 6-piece band! ROCKWIRED arrives in just a few weeks, with rock classics from the 60s, 70s, 80s, 90s, and 00s. Get ready for orchestral renditions of hits by Bon Jovi, Coldplay, Aerosmith, Scorpions, Evanescence, Linkin Park, Muse, Metallica, The Beatles, Green Day, Queen, and many more!

This concert is being presented by Arthaus, a voluntary organisation that nurtures young talent, in collaboration with The Palace String Orchestra. This amazing all live music festival comes from the artistic vision of Stefania Grech Vella and the musician direction of Ryan Paul Abela, who also did the orchestral arrangements. Meanwhile, Claire McCartin is leading the choir, for which Paul Abela has set the arrangements.

Furthermore, award-winning actor Stephen Oliver will serve as the host for the night. The concert will feature a miscellany of prominent local talent, attendees can expect such vocalists as Chris Grech, Klinsmann, Neville Refalo, Andre Portelli, Dion Farrell, Dorothy Borg Bonnici, Rachel Grech and Stephanie Chetcuti, Natassja Chapman, Jodi Zerafa Heckenlaible, and that’s not even all of them. Plus, we hear there’s more surprises where that came from!

This amazing all-live music festival will be held on two days; Saturday 4 November and Sunday 5 November. The concert will start at 7:30 pm and conclude at 11:30 pm on both days. Tickets can be bought online here, prices range from €20 to €35 relative to selected seats. The project is supported by Festivals Malta through the Rock’N Malta Fund.
