56th National Competition and Exhibition of Photography

The 56th edition of the popular ‘National Competition and Exhibition of Photography’ organised by the Malta Photographic Society opens on 10th December 2021 at the Art Galleries of Palazzo de La Salle, Valletta.

The exhibition will feature over 250 photographic works by over 81 local photographers, consisting of 103 framed prints, divided into colour prints and black and white prints, and 154 digital images which are loop- projected on a large monitor. These works were selected from a total of 724 images submitted by 81 authors. Nine experienced, non-participating judges selected the winning photos in the different sections and chose the images which have been accepted for this exhibition.
