Cinema City

Between the 25th and the 28th of June, the eve of a public holiday, the Valletta Cultural Agency will be organising a series of open-air film screenings over four nights at Laparelli Garden in Valletta, underneath the city’s Main Gate, which was inaugurated in 2018 for the European Capital of Culture year. These film screenings are suitable for the whole family and admission is free for all.

The films that will be shown are Jurassic World (Thursday, 25th June), World War Z (Friday, 26th June), The Greatest Showman (Saturday, 27th June), 13 Hours: The Secret Soldiers of Benghazi and Captain Phillips (Sunday, 28th June). Movies start at 8.00 pm and on Sunday the second film starts at 10:15 pm. World War Z, 13 Hours: The Secret Soldiers of Benghazi and Captain Phillips are all films which share a special connection with our Capital City, having scenes shot in Malta and in the streets of Valletta.
