Glitch Club Series: Kobosil

Kobosil is one of techno’s prominent figures, having helped pioneer a sound that is at once deep, fast, and aggressive. Born and raised in the working-class district of Berlin Neukölln, his musical aesthetic is shaped not only by his upbringing but also by the cathartic energy of EBM, noise, and industrial. Aside from releasing on Berghain’s Ostgut Ton, he also runs his own R – Label Group imprint. It’s this combination of the dark and ecstatic that is at the foundation of Kobosil’s powerful approach to techno.
