The latest instalment of the Jurassic World movie franchise will begin shooting on our very own island later this month.
According to the film commissioner, Johann Grech, filming is set to take place following the introduction of ‘strict COVID-19 measures’.
According to the Johann Grech, the commission consulted with the health authorities, in order to draft COVID-19 measures, in a bid to guarantee any risk of the virus spreading due to the production.

Over 1,000 crew members, as well as the entire cast will be swabbed three times per week during filming, translating to around 5,000 swabs taking place throughout shooting.
Locations including Valletta, Vittoriosa, Mellieħa and Pembroke are all expected to feature in the American science fiction adventure film.
Jurassic World: Dominion was originally slated to begin filming earlier this year but was halted completely after the pandemic struck. According to the film commissioner, this is the first blockbuster production since the pandemic started and “we are reigniting the industry with a bang.”
Jurassic World: Dominion will begin filming during the last week of August and is expected to be released in cinemas in June 2021.
Oh and not to mention that stars like Chris Pratt, Sam Neill and Bryce Dallas Howard will all be here too!
