Tash Sultana featured on front cover of Rolling Stone
The insanely talented Australian-Maltese singer and songwriter Tash Sultana has entered a new phase of their career. Rolling Stone Australia announced yesterday that they are set to feature on the cover of its upcoming fourth issue.
Hitting shelves on 15 March, Tash Sultana will be gracing the cover, having gone from strength to strength in the last few years. Having released their ARIA #2 debut album Flow State back in 2018, Tash has been writing non-stop, recording and performing. In the meantime, they have also been gearing up to deliver their second record, Terra Firma.
Managing editor Poppy Reid said: “Tash Sultana is undoubtedly one of Australia’s most fascinating artists. Record sales, awards, over one billion streams, and sold out global shows aside, everything they do seems to come from a place of immaculate creativity.”
The half-Maltese musician, who grew up in Melbourne, Australia, commanded attention world wide when their homemade videos went viral on YouTube. Soon enough, Tash was selling out major arenas, a string of sold out world tours and headlining the world’s biggest festivals. Not too shabby for an artist who was recording their songs on a GoPro in their bedroom just a year prior.
