Maltese band Tribali will perform at this year's Notte Bianca

This Samedi 1 Octobre, Malta’s annual Notte Bianca festival returns to Valletta for an eclectic evening of arts and culture

This weekend sees the welcome return of Notte Bianca, following a two-year hiatus due to the impacts of the novel coronavirus. Noted for its extensive and varied range of artistic presentations, the festival has become a mainstay on the country’s cultural landscape and an important annual attraction for both tourists and residents of Malta.

Started in 2005, this year’s Notte Bianca features numerous well-known artists, with highlights including local acts Tribali and Klinsmann, as well as popular Italian pop rock group The Kolors.

Divided into seven ‘routes’ — Alternative, Classics, Dance, Kids, Music, Theatre and Red — Notte Bianca offers over fifty events to enjoy and be entertained and educated by, with venues including churches, cultural and municipal institutions, bars, gardens, streets and squares. Importantly, though taking place primarily in the evening, the festival offers a number of family-friendly events during the day (from 4pm). To find out more check out their website.

Notte Bianca has been sorely missed by both audiences and performers alike, so be sure not to miss it this year!
