Local fashion house Charles & Ron has recently launched its fall-winter 22/23 collection, ‘CYNOSURE’, which draws inspiration from Casa Rocca Piccola, the 16th-century palace and home of the noble Maltese family De Piro, situated in Malta’s capital city, Valletta.

 

The collection highlights the beauty of the eclectic collection of decorative items housed within the walls of the palace, whilst seeking to explore the synergy between interior and fashion design.

 

The aesthetic riches of Malta and the traditions of Maltese nobility, with a specific focus on the aristocratic De Piro bloodline, are brought to life through the digital manipulation of prints featuring crystal glassware, gilded baroque frames, antique furniture, porcelain pottery, cross stitch fabrics, gold and silverware.
