Jewish Life TV’s Air Land & Sea episode on the Jewish History of Magnificent Malta wins two prestigious awards

Jewish Life TV’s (JLTV) Air Land & Sea, a series that uncovers the triumphs and tribulations of the Jewish people both past and present, has recently snatch two prestigious awards for an episode on the Jewish History of Magnificent Malta.
The first was “Best in Class – News & Broadcasts” from the Religion Communicators Council and the second was a Silver award in the 2023 World Media Festival – Travel & Tourism, held in Hamburg, Germany.
Produced and hosted by Brad Pomerance, JLTV Host & Executive Director, this two-hour programme premiered on JLTV in 2022. This TV special takes the audience on a remarkable journey, uncovering the history of Maltese Jewry, believed to be one of the oldest Jewish communities in the entire world.
Carlo Micallef, CEO, Malta Tourism Authority (MTA) congratulated Brad Pomerance and the entire JLTV crew and noted, “Malta has the history, sites, and attractions but the JLTV team did a magnificent job to film, produce and present Malta’s rich Jewish Heritage to a large audience. These awards bring further recognition to Jewish Heritage Malta and great honour to MTA and all the partners in Malta that helped make this happen.”
Michelle Buttigieg, Malta Tourism Authority Representative North America, added that “Malta is very proud to introduce this Jewish Heritage Malta experience in such depth through the lens of JLTV to its large North American audience. For the US and Canada, Malta is still an undiscovered gem, and even more so, its Jewish Heritage.”
Jewish Life Television is North America’s premier 24-7 Jewish-themed television network, available in over 45 million homes through Bell, Comcast, Cox, DirecTV, Spectrum, and other providers.
