On International Museum Day, three of Heritage Malta’s iconic venues in Valletta will be completely free to visit. Enjoy the MUŻA, Fort St. Elmo, and the National Museum of Archaeology for the full day on Jeudi, Mai 18! If you want to get the most out of your visit, reserve a free tour in advance to learn even more about the intriguing stories and histories that lie behind these many institutions.

This year’s International Museum Day has as its theme “Museums, Sustainability and Well-Being,” and we’re excited to show how museums can support the SDGs by, among other things, promoting diversity, reducing social isolation, and improving mental health. There will be two tours conducted at each venue, one at 11:00 am in Maltese and one at 14:00 in English.
