COVID-19 aid for Maltese fishing vessel owners

Owners of Maltese fishing vessels will be benefitting from an €800,000 scheme, with the initiative receiving the final seal of approval from the European Commission. In fact, the scheme was approved under the State Aid Temporary Framework, and will be distributed in the form of direct grants

160,000 tourists travel to Malta in September

Arrivals in September 2021 were a three times higher than in September of last year, according to official figures. In fact, no less than 159,304 tourists arrived on the island in the month, compared to 50,359 in September last year, which leads us to believe that we are heading, slowly but surely, towards a pre-COVID situation
