The Malta Aviation Society committee has stopped all preparations for this year’s much-awaited event. The event was cancelled following concerns of spiking coronavirus cases as well as the government’s decision to ban public mass gatherings.
The committee is currently awaiting confirmation from the event’s main sponsor, the Malta Tourism Authority, to ascertain that the current agreement is pushed forward to 2021.
The 26th edition of the Malta International Airshow was set to take place on the 26 and 27 September after an absence of two years.
Held at the Malta International Airport, the Malta International Air Show has earned a well-deserved reputation as one of Malta’s top outdoor family events.
