Ragnar superyacht berthed in Malta

One of the most recent deliveries of 2020 has made her way to the Mediterranean. Maltese-flagged and currently berthing in Vittoriosa is the impressive 68-metre superyacht Ragnar.

The vessel departed Icon Yachts in the Netherlands back in June, where the shipyard re-built the 2012 Sanaborg supply vessel into the ice-breaking ICE Class A1. The conversion of the Sanaborg into the luxurious ice-breaker explorer super yacht took around two years and included an increase of top-quality accommodation areas.

British artists at RWD designed the vessel’s utilitarian exterior lines, as well as its medieval-inspired classic interior.

According to Superyacht Times, Ragnar is LY3 classed, with arctic explorer capabilities and full ice-breaking functionality, with its unique ICE class PC5 rated electric driven ice pods, giving the vessel a whopping range of 6,000 nautical miles. All of this means she can venture to the most remote areas of the world.

The yacht offers accommodation for up to 16 guests across eight cabins, including two owner’s suites, its own spa, swimming pool, jacuzzi, gym, sauna and massage room. What’s more, at her aft toy storage areas, Ragnar has options for a Luxury Ripsaw EV2, Eurocopter EC145 helicopter, two 8-metre tenders, a sea-explorer submarine and two laser sailing boats on board.
