Have you ever heard of Melon bread? We hadn’t either. Also referred to as melonpan, the sweet bun, which is also popular in Taiwan and China, is made with an enriched dough, covered in a thin layer of crisp cookie dough. To our surprise, the bread does not actually contain any melon but rather, got its name from its melon-like appearance.
