As you’re all aware, the long-awaited storm struck and boy, did it strike hard. We’ve made it our business to collect as much footage of the storm as possible.

Speaking of flooding, here are a few other spots in Malta that seemed to have gotten the short end of the stick. Below is a video exhibiting just how flooded streets in Burmarrad were. Taken by Chris Thorpe.

What about Xlendi in Gozo, we hear you ask? Here’s a video of the flooded streets yesterday, caught by Kristian Bowles. It was estimated that 100mm of rain fell in Gozo!

On the upside, this change in weather has made for the perfect conditions for ducks. Here’s a team of ducks hanging out and loving life, by Ray Grech.

All that being said, summer doesn’t seem to be over just yet. Despite a couple of ‘possible thunderstorm’ and ‘possible showers’, high temperatures don’t seem to be budging anytime soon.
