Noel Zammit, Heritage Malta’s CEO said that: “The Hypogeum only allows a small number of visitors every hour, with a maximum of eight tours a day. In normal circumstances, one must book a visit weeks or even months in advance. Currently, it’s easier to visit and to take the opportunity to become better acquainted with this unique part of our heritage. Heritage Malta has therefore come up with the initiative to enhance accessibility to this site while increasing the value of the visit through gift vouchers for every visitor.”
