The Sleeping Car Murders to be shown at Spazju Kreattiv
In association with the Alliance Francaise de Malte Mediterranee, Spazju Kreattiv and the French Embassy in Malta, the 1965 film Compartiment tueurs (The Sleeping Car Murders) will be showing on Wednesday.
The film will be shown as part of French Film Days, which Spazju Kreattiv is hosting, at St James Cavalier in Valletta.
The plot revolves around six people, travelling in a railroad sleeping car, from Marseille to Paris. Upon their arrival, a woman is found dead in one of their berths. The police investigate the other five passengers, suspecting that one of them committed the homicide, but the suspects are killed one by one. The last two must solve the case themselves, before they become the next victims.
The movie, which is based on the novel of Sebastien Japrisot, will be showing on Wednesday 20 January, at 7:30pm.
