The Local Enforcement Agency, also known as LESA, will be installing four brand new speed cameras on the Coast Road. The cameras will be installed on both sides of the road and signs that indicate where as a driver, you may come across the cameras, have already been installed.

“This road has seen many terrible accidents as well as deaths. There were also recommendations which emerged from a Magisterial Inquiry,” said LESA. “The speed cameras shall be installed in these black spots,” they added.

In addition, a study to identify the locations where accidents tend to occur most was carried out, with the cameras set to be installed in these particular spots.
