Game Changer for Gozo? New fast ferry service between Gozo and Valletta
Gozo Fast Ferry Ltd will be operating a fast ferry service between Gozo and Valletta as from June
Gozo Fast Ferry Ltd has invested in two modern, environmentally friendly, high-speed passenger catamarans that are equipped with the latest technology to operate, in compliance with the requirements of the Port Notice issued by Transport Malta.
Both catamarans are able to carry 300 passengers per trip and each trip will take place in less than 45 minutes.
Minister for Gozo Clint Camilleri expressed his satisfaction over the announcement that now two companies are offering a fast ferry service.
Gozo Fast Ferry Ltd will be collaborating with the Malta Public Transport to ensure users will be able to make use of their Tallinja Card whilst being offered a “seamless” journey between Valletta and Mgarr.
Payments can also be made with contactless bank cards, phones and smart watches.
