Learning Works, a local company focused on training and education, has joined forces with Liverpool John Moores University, to begin offering an MSc in International Sport Coaching, as of this September.
By means of this partnership, a number of international specialists in the field of sport coaching will be delivering online sessions, as well as holding practical face-to-face sessions in Malta, enabling established, as well as up and coming coaches in different sport disciplines, to access the latest insights in sport coaching. Participants in the programme will learn with a cohort of high-performing coaches and network with the university’s staff, alumni and contacts, across the world of sport.
Participants may continue working as coaches in their own context, whilst studying for their course. They will also be able to take part in their own context, or with one of the university’s sporting partner. The programme includes personalised assignments, so one can apply knowledge to their own coaching practice, on topics including sport psychology, pedagogy, training programmes and talent development.
Dr Bernice Sant, Learning Works’ international programmes coordinator said that this is a “golden opportunity for aspiring and established coaches looking to develop their practice and take it to a higher level.”
