Walk-in clinic: almost 2,500 people vaccinated on the first day
The walk-in vaccination clinic, which was set up at the Mosta Technopark saw 2,461 people vaccinated on its first day of operations!
The health minister, Chris Fearne, made the announcement and thanked the staff of the clinic for a successful first day. Fearne also reminded locals that the next mobile clinic will be available tomorrow 21 July, near the Żejtun Parish Church.
The new initiative came to be as the pace of Malta’s vaccine rollout had started to slow down somewhat. As it stands, 81% of Malta’s population is fully vaccinated, with 85% having been administered at least one dose of the vaccine.
What’s more, two-thirds of children aged 12-15 have been administered at least one dose.
