Keith Galea and Danica Bonello Spiteri reign supreme at the National Triathlon Championships

Gloomy weather and wet roads were part of the race package during the Malta National Long Triathlon Championships, which saw two  National Champions being crowned. 

The National Triathlon Championships were held on the 10th October 2021 at the Coast Road in the north of the country.

Specialist doctor and International Triathlete Danica Bonello Spiteri confirmed her superiority in the sport over the weekend by placing first in the national race for the 15th time in 25 years of racing.

In the male category, Keith Galea once again dominated the series by winning the race with a close margin thus once again claiming the title.

“The Malta Triathlon Federation congratulates Keith Galea and Danica Bonello Spiteri for their win on Sunday,” John Vella, president of the Malta Triathlon Federation said.
