Malta’s weightlifting champion Yazmin Zammit Stevens has partnered up with fitness company Gymshark, officially becoming a Gymshark athlete.
The British fitness apparel and accessories company is headquartered in Solihull in England and was founded back in 2012 by a teenager named Ben Francis and a group of his high-school friends.
“I can finally proudly announce that I am officially a Gymshark athlete,” wrote Yazmin on a social media post, alongside a video produced by Bullet Proof Malta, which sees the athlete share her journey as a weightlifter from a small island, with big dreams. In fact, Yazmin started weightlifting only six years ago and has worked her way up to competing in the Olympics.
