Last year, Maltese song festival called Mużika Mużika took the music industry by a storm with its first edition, following its successful predecessor Festival Kanzunetta Maltija.
The festival hosted 20 original songs in Maltese, which competed on a spectacular stage. Glen Vella’s Ħarsa Biss, composed by Philip Vella and written by Joe Julian Farrugia, took the crown for its first edition. The festival had 320,000 television viewers, garnering praise from music industry professionals, as well as the public.
