Local Theatre company set to produce children novel ‘Matilda’
The internationally acclaimed multi-award winning musical will now be staged in Malta
Masquerade School for the Performing Arts is working with director Anthony Bezzina alongside a myriad of talented designers, choreographers, and coaches from all around the globe to retell and dramatise the story of Matilda Wormwood, a precocious and gifted young girl who is challenged by her parents and her notorious school principal, Agatha Trunchbull.
Previously premiered in Stratford-upon-Avon back in 2010, Matilda has had shows sold out all-over the world, with an array of audience across all ages.
Matilda will run from the 16th to the 30th of April 2022 and it will be showing at the Mediterranean Conference Centre in Valletta, in alignment with music theatre international limited.
