The Anne Frank Exhibition; Depicting Anne Frank’s Unfinished Story

Annelies Marie Frank, more famously known and referred to as Anne Frank, was a German diarist who went through the harrowing experience of living in multiple concentration camps, passing away a few days before the end of the Second World War.

As a writer at heart, Frank managed to also write while living in concentration camps, elaborating on her relationship with her family, her living situation, and her meaningful friendships, writing consistently up until her last entry of 1 August 1944.

It was her father Otto, the sole survivor of the Frank family after the WW2, who fulfilled Anne’s wish, publishing her diary in 1947, becoming a sensational hit, now translated into over 70 languages.

The University of Malta Valletta campus will be hosting the Anne Frank Exhibition from 25 February to 4 March 2022. This exhibition will display Anne Frank’s life journey through 37 banners together with two videos. The exhibition will also feature a copy of her original diary and a model of the house in which the family hid during the initial part of the Second World War.

Opening hours vary from 08:00-17:00 during the weekdays and from 10:00 to 17:00 on Saturday and Sunday.

One can visit the University of Malta website for more information regarding the exhibition and other upcoming events.
