Based between Malta and Berlin, Ryan Falzon is a renown contemporary painter and printmaker who has worked with the likes of Absolut Vodka in 2014 for their ‘Transform Today’ worldwide campaign, and he has recently been in collaboration between Ostrale Dresden and Rijeka 2020 – EuropeanCapital of Culture.

Held in Mqabba from 18 February until 14 March at Il-Kamra ta’ Fuq, Falzon is currently sharing his latest art works which complete Falzon’s oeuvre with the rest of his iconic plant-themed art works. From inspiration of his former body of works such as the Botanica series and the series titled ‘Selfies’, Falzon has managed to highlight the comforting ambience which is endlessly provided by the non-demanding companion, especially during the trying times of the pandemic.
