Etienne Farrell’s New Eye-Opening Exhibition- ‘GUILTY’

Farrell’s brand new work calls for healthy discussions about what it means to be ‘guilty of being a woman’.

Maltese visual artist Etienne Farrell has hosted numerous exhibitions, from the autobiographical journey that is  ‘The Ghosts Within’, to the interactive installation of ‘Dress Up!’.  Ferrell is now inviting participants to partake in her new eye-opening show – ‘Guilty’. GUILTY is designed to help in the examination of what it means to be “guilty of being a woman” away from feminist, cultural, or religious pressures and impositions.

GUILTY

Her exhibition at the Community Space is a collection of black and white deadpan pictures that highlight experiences, discomforts, health challenges, and circumstances that women often personally experience. Etienne Farrell’s work aims to start good conversations, to assist individuals in becoming more aware of others’ situations.

GUILTY invites active participants to join in and interact, to keep with MUA’s objective of developing a participatory museum paradigm for the arts. This event will be held at ‘MUZA – The Malta National Community Art Museum’ in Valletta.
