Malta Philharmonic Orchestra to Serve as Resident's Orchestra for the MIMF 2022
The European Foundation for Support of Culture (EUFSC) will present the Malta International Music Festival (MIMF). Spread over June all the way to the second week of July, the MIMF is a celebration of world-class classical music performances held in a number of prestigious venues throughout the Maltese archipelago, featuring appearances by some of the world’s most renowned soloists.
The event’s resident orchestra will be the illustrious Malta Philharmonic Orchestra, with the festival also inviting a slew of other foreign orchestras to participate. The Malta Classical Music Academy (MCMA), a two-week programme of masterclasses and lectures with eminent worldwide academics, will also be part of the festival, as will the EUFSC’s Georgian and Tatarstan Cultural Days, which will feature choir, ballet, and other dance genres.
