This exhibition is expected to be the largest ever presentation of Apap works at one exhibition and will be a demonstration of his brilliance and versatility. It will feature oils and inks of portraits, landscapes and still life’s, dancers, human figures, sacred and ethnic works. In total, it will feature 70 pieces of art. Willie Apap (1918–1970), who spent the majority of his adult life living and working in Italy, established himself as one of Malta’s foremost practitioners of the 20th century.
