This Friday 16 September, the Malta Concert Orchestra (MCO) will perform a concert of Queen songs, featuring some of Malta’s most talented and well-known singers
British band Queen occupies a unique place in musical history, known for both their canny ability to write chart-topping memorable hits, as well as for their uniquely innovative and genre-defying style of composition.
This week, the MCO directed by maestro and arranger Joe Brown, will perform a concert of their music at Valletta’s historic Teatru Rjal on Friday night at 8:30pm.
The concert features singers Tiziana Calleja, Daryl Ebejer, Victorio Gauci and Carmelo Ebejer “Lello”, who will perform a range of hits alongside the MCO including One Vision, Bohemian Rhapsody, Don’t Stop Me Now and Radio Ga Ga.
This upcoming concert is the latest in a series of special performances to be held this summer at Teatru Rjal, with past concerts including an Elton John tribute, ‘Notte Italiana’ and an evening of music from the much-loved James Bond films.
