You know a restaurant is doing something right when it opens at not one, not two but four different locations in a span of two years. Hermanos became an established burger restaurant chain in Malta in no time and is widely lauded as one of the island’s best burger joints… this is why I’ve been desperate to try it out first hand. So I figure it’s time to get down and dirty and drop the fork and knife.  Â
The menu is refreshingly straightforward and pretty much burger-concentrated. They offer, in fact, just burgers and their usual (or not so usual) accompaniments. Still, that does not mean a lack of choice, and trust me, I’m not complaining. A  good ol’ greasy burger is exactly what I’m here for.  Â
At Hermanos, each and every freshly made burger is associated with a different city, telling its story through a specific selection of quality ingredients and mix of authentic flavours. With over 22 burgers to choose from (and cities to explore), the juicy meaty hamburgers take centre stage. Because let’s be honest – a burger is, traditionally a meat-based dish. So I felt it was crucial to taste the meatiest burger they had on offer, which also happens to be their number one best seller (duh!).  Â
