Commemorating celebrated Maltese artist Antoine Camilleri

Next Thursday, 17 November, Heritage Malta will be hosting a public talk and discussion dedicated to the legacy of renowned Maltese artist Antoine Camilleri

The event will take place at Valletta’s MUŻA museum, and is being in held to celebrate what would have been the celebrated artist’s 100th birthday this year. Camilleri is credited as having an enduring, spirited impact on the development of Maltese modern and contemporary art. 

The project is a collaboration between MUŻA and Camilleri’s family, with friends and loved ones close to the artist present to share their memories of the man and his work.  

Commemorating Antoine Camilleri (1922-2005) – A Hundred Years from his Birth will take place at 6:30pm on 17 November at MUŻA museum, Valletta. Admission is free of charge, though places are limited. For more information, visit the Heritage Malta website
