On Saturday 19 November, the Società La Valette band will return to Floriana’s Catholic Institute for a concert entitled ‘Magia di Operette’, a performance of works collected from a variety of well-known operattas  

The concert features noted Italian tenor Andrea Bragiotto and soprano Barbara Fasol (Milan), who will perform alongside the historic band under the direction of Mro. Domonic Darmanin, and takes place in commemoration of the 95th anniversary of the ensemble’s victory at the International Band Competition in Como.  

This performance is held under the patronage of the President of Malta H.E. Dr. George Vella.0
