MPO to perform Pirates of the Caribbean soundtrack live to film

On Saturday 3 December at the Malta Fairs and Convention Centre (MFCC), the Malta Philharmonic Orchestra (MPO), conducted by Kevin Abela, will perform the score to the blockbuster hit, Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl, live to film.

This upcoming concert follows the huge successes of the MPO’s other live to film projects, including Beauty and the Beast and The Lion King. The family-friendly film follows the exploits of the legendary pirate, Captain Jack Sparrow, and features the now iconic score by Klaus Badelt and Hans Zimmer.

This presentation is licensed by Disney Concerts with the support of the Malta Film Commission.

‘Pirates of the Caribbean – The Curse of the Black Pearl in Concert Live to Film’ takes place Saturday 3 December at the MFCC in Ta’ Qali, Attard. For further details, visit the MPO official website.
