Corinthia St George’s Restaurants Celebrate Success at Wines and Restaurants Malta Awards

Corinthia was proud to be recognised at this year’s Wines and Restaurants Malta Ceremony (WRMC), which was held over an exclusive gala dinner event at the Hilton Malta in St Julian’s. Area General Manager, Jonathan Pace, and Area Executive Chef, Kevin Arpa and Food and Food and Beverage Magager Matteo Biagini were in attendance to accept the awards on behalf of the brand.

Fra Martino, a well-loved Sunday buffet restaurant renowned for its diverse international cuisine, was awarded the coveted Blue Ribane prize. Meanwhile, the open-air in Summer, Broadside Terrace, known for its Mediterranean mezes, grills, and artisanal cocktails, was recognised with the Special Concept award. Both restaurants are located within the 5-star Corinthia St George’s Bay in St Julian’s.

“We are thrilled to be recognised yet again at the WRMC awards,” said Jonathan Pace, Area General Manager for Corinthia hotels in St Julian’s. “This is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our talented kitchen and service teams and reinforces our commitment to delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests. The recognition highlights the Corinthia brand’s reputation for culinary excellence and our dedication to delivering high-quality cuisine and exceptional service.”

Launched in 2004, Wines and Restaurants of Malta is a leading wines and restaurant review portal focusing on the Maltese culinary scene. The awards are based on WRMC’s anonymous evaluations of a restaurant’s complete dining experience, with the inspection covering every aspect of the restaurant. The survey teams must reach a consensus on the quality of all evaluated elements before determining the winners.
