The Power of Irregularity: A Solo Exhibition by Jp Migneco
The “Irregularity” solo exhibition by artist JP Migneco features a number of pieces that explore the interaction between natural and artificial surroundings. The artist reinterprets landscapes in coastal places in Malta using a variety of mediums, including photography, drawing, and painting. Models of fractal terrain and biomorphic architecture serve as inspiration for the use of erratic polygonal grids in the procedure.
The exhibition explores issues around urbanisation and technology, highlighting the effects of people’s interactions with the environment in the age of technology. Migneco’s work is artistic, influenced by colour theory, geometric abstraction, and landscape painting.
The exhibition will run until May 6 from Wednesdays to Sundays from 2 to 7pm
