Insanely talented 17 year old athlete Tenishia Thornton represented Malta in the European Weightlifting Senior Championships in Yerevan, Armenia on Monday, an Olympic qualification event for Paris 2024. 

Here she managed to lift a total of 185kg, placing fourth. 

Thornton was the youngest athlete in the group, and still managed to place higher than athletes from Ireland, Denmark, the Czech Republic, Greece, Hungary, Finland, and Israel.
