Il-Festa tal-Festi, which translates to feast of feasts, will be taking place at Verdala Palace this weekend between 28 – 30 April

The three day event is a grand celebration of all things festa related, and is set to showcase the history and heritage of Malta and its people. It will be bringing locals and tourists together to experience and appreciate the unique Maltese culture and traditions, particularly the Maltese festa. People can enjoy traditional feast installations, live performances and bands, educational workshops, delicious food, exciting activities and much more, all held in a number of open spaces at the Verdala Palace with different areas set up for various activities.

The first night will consist of lots and lots of laughter and good food;  a live comedy show by none-other than Rodney Gauci, Pawlu Borg Bonaci, Mario Cassar, Mary Rose Mallia and Megan May Caruana. Apart from this, you will also get to experience a traditional Maltese festa meal. 

The second night will consist of all things festa, as well as a concert by Kirsten Graham and the renowned Maltese band, The Travellers. 

During the last day of celebrations, you will get to experience the peak of Maltese feasts. Celebrations start with a mass at 10am and afterwards, various bands will come together as part of the morning march.
