The Busker have just finished their second rehearsal for ‘Dance (Our own Party)’, with which they are representing Malta in the Eurovision Song Contest 2023.

A park seat, a light, a little house, a car, and cardboard cutouts of prior Maltese Eurovision performances are just a few of the accessories that The Busker brought on stage to create their own house party. To tell the song’s three-part plot, the band engages with each element of the performance.  Towards the end of the performance, the sweaters are replaced by silver sequins in a swift yet ever-so-quirky costume change. It is clearly an elevated version of their national selection performance, while still remaining authentic and groovy.
