Nothing says Christmas quite like chocolate. In that spirit, the Malta Chocolate Factory in Buġibba has organised a set of Christmas workshops taking place in the weeks leading up to Christmas. From cocktails to calendars, take your pick from these 5 festive-themed workshops and make your December that much more special!
Children’s Christmas Chocolate Masterclass
This first workshop is meant for kids, who will delve into the fascinating realm of chocolate craftsmanship and create their own unique Christmas character under the direction of a knowledgeable instructor. After this, children will get to use their hands as they are exposed to the fascinating craft of chocolate painting.
They will carefully decorate their chocolate spheres with festive colours using delicious and bright chocolate paint, transforming them into edible canvases for their imaginative Christmas scenes. What’s more, they’ll get to embellish their creations with a variety of materials, including fondant shapes, glittering dust, and bright sprinkles, to give each item a whimsical and magical touch.

Chocolate Christmas Tree Decorating at the Point
This Saturday, December 2, visit The Point Shopping Mall to experience the enchanting Christmas Tree Decorating Workshop! Allow your creativity to run wild and create gorgeous ornaments that are ready to hang on your home tree. This is the cheapest albeit shortest workshop, being held at 20 minute intervals between 10.30 and 6 pm. Spots are limited so make sure to reserve yours here as soon as possible!
Make Your Own Advent Calendar
If you’d rather spend your Saturday some other way, why not Make Your own Advent Calendar? During this fascinating workshop, you will go on an entertaining and educational journey as you discover the craft of creating chocolate from skilled chocolatiers. Let your imagination run wild as you create and decorate delicious chocolates, creating personalised, one-of-a-kind confections to enjoy this holiday season.
Participants will learn how to temper chocolate, become an expert at filling and moulding, and add their own touch with gorgeous hand-painted decorations. They will also receive invaluable insights into the realm of chocolate artistry from our experienced educators, who will walk participants through every stage of the process.
