Lineup of performers revealed for Valletta New Year's Eve 2024
Following its successful return from a two-year hiatus last year, the much-anticipated New Year’s Eve celebrations in Valletta will once again take place in St George’s Square! What’s more, the lineup of talented performers who’ll be setting the stage on fire this year has officially been revealed by the Valletta Cultural Agency and the Ministry for the National Heritage, the Arts, and Local Government.
More than 50,000 people travel to Valletta on New Year’s Eve to take in the lively and enjoyable atmosphere of the event, making it the largest national gathering in Malta during the holiday season. With top-notch performances by a variety of renowned local artists, it is the perfect way to close off 2023 if you’re going to be around. “Together, let’s bid farewell to the current year and usher in the new one with warmth and celebration”, said Jason Micallef, the Valletta Cultural Agency chairperson as he encouraging the public to attend
Ron, Taryn Mamo Cefai, and Keane Cutajar will serve as the hosts for the night, guiding spectators with charm as we transition into 2024. As for the musical acts, New Year’s Eve 2024 will be kicked off with a performance by Lara and the Jukeboys band. Then, for the main event, The Palace String Orchestra will take the stage, under the direction of Ryan Abela, along with an amazing lineup featuring some of the best local talent in Malta. Attendees can expect live performances by AIDAN, Drakard, Klinsmann, Jasmine, Megan May, Sarah Bonnici, and special guest Emma Muscat.
Then, the hosts will join forces with DJ Koroma and DJ Miggy to usher in the New Year in style. Right before countdown, they will perform a mash-up set of the year’s greatest dance hits, complete with stage special effects and fireworks..
