POPP is a shop in Gżira specialising in craft beer, cider, wine, and more. On March 2, they will once again be taking over the BMX Warehouse in Pembroke, for the Winter Edition of A POPP Day Out – the first of the year! The seasonal event promises a full day of craft beer, street food, games, and great music, all complimenting the craft and vintage market.

Attendees can expect an array of high quality craft beers from some of Europe’s top microbreweries, namely Tuff, Duppy Share, East London Liquor Company, and Malta’s own top craft brewery Lord Chambray. From earthy aromatic beers to sweet tangy ciders, it’ll all be available at your fingertips and you’ll want to try it all.

Ofcourse, all that booze needs a savoury bite to go with it. Treat yourself to a diverse selection of street food from some of Malta’s best food trucks and vendors. The last edition had it all, from chicken katsu to smoked meats, even The Bagel Shop made an appearance. What’s more, you can finish it off with a delicious homemade dessert!

If you’re not much of a drinker, you can opt for a specialised coffee from Coffee&strangers, who are essentially the POPP of espresso. You could even mix it up and try one of their coffee cocktails, perhaps an Irish Coffee or an Espresso Martini.
